Shirley Park Bowling Club are a friendly private outdoor bowls club.
Shirley Park Bowling Club currently have approximately 55 men and 40 women playing members, plus 35 social members. We play on a 6-rink green that is regarded as the best bowling green in the area. We have a purpose-built clubhouse with all essential facilities, including a Bar, Kitchen, Men’s and Ladies changing rooms.
Shirley Park BC, play both, competitive and friendly matches throughout the outdoor season from late April until the end of September, as well as internal and external competitions, prize drives and club tournaments.
Our Ladies section is very competitive and they have quite a number of Croydon Borough and Surrey County qualified players.
Friday evenings we have a club night, which all our members are encouraged to attend, especially new members as it is an ideal opportunity to meet their fellow club members and after the game we have a fish and chip supper. (supper optional). Anyone with an interest in playing bowls are welcome to come along and try their hand under the tuition of our qualified coaches.
